Can a person with only one useable arm go to culinary/cooking school?

Posted by admin
Vampie asked:

My cousin had a stroke as a teen and her right arm can only hold things but not let them go and it cannot move.
Basically she really has just one useable arm.
She really wants to go to culinary school.
Would it be possible for her in such a situation? Are there accommodations that could be made? Instruments that could be used to assist etc.?

Thank you

I would say yes. She could figure out a way to do it if she was extremely into it. I hope it goes swell :)

There is no reason that she should not be able to complete culinary school and go on to be a great chef.
