Open Question: Anyone know of cake baking classes?
I live in between the Jacksonville and Gainesville Florida area and I am looking for a introductory class to cake baking. I know that Michael’s craft stores offer cake decorating courses, but I want to learn basics and techniques of baking cakes before I learn the decorating. Does anyone know of any classes near my area? I have looked online with several community colleges. But most places just offer a degree in culinary arts. I just want to take a class maybe a few months long. Even 6 months would be fine. I wasn’t planning on getting a degree. I have heard of certificates, which I would consider. Any suggestions?
