How much does culinary school cost?

I enjoy cooking and have experience as a baker, mostly cakes and deserts. I want to take actual classes and possibly get some sort of certification in the culinary arts fields. I know there are a bunch of little private type “colleges” around the United States, but I’d like to hear from people who have actually gone as to the costs.
