Not very important, it’s whether you have the money and whether they have a spot for you. You pretty much just need the basics. If you ask me, you would get better experience working for a nice restaurant and just letting them know what your goal is. Move around to different restaurants and get experience. Cook at home, read everything, practice practice practice.
