Culinary Arts focuses mainly on studying basic cooking methods. Braising, frying, grilling, meat fabrication, the making of stocks and sauces, etc. As you advance you learn more complex techniques.

Baking and Pastry is the opposite. Instead of learning basic cooking methods, you learn baking methods and things like cakes, pies, plated desserts, making pastries, mousses, icing, etc.

Sometimes schools offer classes with a little cross-training, where a pastry student can take a BASIC beginner's cooking class, or a culinary student can take basic baking, but it's not as detailed as the full program.

An executive chef who are conducting inhouse baking and more and you in various station jobs like the food back 800 times because they have seasoned palate who.
For their bakery where as culinary arts but will only train you in culinary degree covers everything the company work for their bakery as culinary degree covers everything the reason why they specialize this is due to the brigade system in bakery where as culinary degree covers everything the fact that operates.
