What type of degree should i aim for in Culinary Art School?

I want to attend cooking school in a few years and i was wondering. What degree should i get, because there are multiple choises. I want to be a pro cook possibly at a resturant for some years. Than possibly open up a resturant down the road. For whatever you suggest, what to i need to know before going to learn that thing? Thank you.

I would go as high as your money limit lets you go, if you want to be a good chef the degree is really important! You will get paid a lot more, and get much better job offers! To start the restaurant off you really wanna look good and say, yeah i got so and so many years of culinary school if you have a lot the main idea would be that you have better food! Aim high!!
